BMC LAUNCHES THE NEW 560-HP PRO L 1856 

AT IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026

One of Türkiye’s leading commercial and military vehicle manufacturers, BMC is participating in IAA Transportation 2026, held in Hannover, Germany, from 15 to 20 September 2026. At the exhibition, BMC is showcasing its PROCITY+ 12M EV and PROCITY 18M Diesel buses, while also launching the new 560-horsepower member of its PRO L family, the PRO L 1856.

One of the most important international gatherings of the transportation industry, IAA Transportation brings together commercial vehicle manufacturers, technology providers and industry professionals. At the exhibition, BMC is presenting its extensive product portfolio and transportation solutions developed to address diverse operational requirements to international visitors.

THE NEW POWER OF THE BMC PRO L FAMILY: PRO L 1856

BMC has unveiled the new 560-horsepower member of its PRO L family, the PRO L 1856, developed for international long-haul transportation, to industry professionals for the first time at IAA Transportation 2026.

Combining the performance, driving comfort and durability offered by the PRO L 1852 with higher engine power, the PRO L 1856 is powered by a Euro VI-E-compliant Cummins X13DT engine delivering 560 PS (412 kW) at 1,800 rpm. The vehicle is equipped with a ZF 12 TX 2621 TD automated manual transmission supported by an Intarder.

Featuring a high-roof, double-berth cab, the PRO L 1856 takes driver comfort to the next level on long journeys. Its 10.4-inch touchscreen multimedia display and electrohydraulic steering system, with adjustable steering wheel height and reach, provide a modern driving experience.

With 800- and 400-liter aluminum fuel tanks providing a total fuel capacity of 1,200 liters, the vehicle meets the requirements of international transportation operations The Blind Spot Information System and Moving Off Information System (BSIS/MOIS) enhance situational awareness and support driving safety.

The BMC PRO L 1856 is on display at the BMC stand throughout the exhibition for visitors to explore.

ELECTRIC AND DIESEL SOLUTIONS FOR URBAN TRANSPORTATION

At IAA Transportation 2026, BMC is also showcasing its PROCITY+ 12M EV and PROCITY 18M Diesel buses, developed for urban public transportation.

Offering an all-electric configuration designed to meet the requirements of sustainable urban transportation, the PROCITY+ 12M EV stands out with its environmentally friendly technology, passenger comfort and modern design.

Developed for high-demand urban routes with its high passenger capacity, the PROCITY 18M Diesel combines performance, durability and operational efficiency.

With a wide product range with its PROCITY, NEOCITY and NEOPORT urban bus families, BMC holds a leading position in Türkiye in the field of eco-friendly CNG buses, exported to many countries including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Serbia, Italy, Bulgaria, Czechia, Lithuania, Estonia and North Macedonia.

Continuing its operations across a broad geography, particularly in Türkiye and European countries, BMC also continues to expand in the diesel bus segment. By expanding its dealer and service network in countries such as Poland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Croatia and Denmark, the company is strengthening its position in international markets.

PRO L 1856 (4x2) – TRACTOR

The new BMC PRO L 1856 4x2 Tractor with BMC's most powerful engine, most comfortable driving experience, and most spacious cabin to date introduces a new dimension to long-haul transportation.

Generating 560 horsepower and 2500 Nm of torque with its 12.9-liter engine, the vehicle delivers superior traction performance even in challenging road conditions, offering maximum efficiency over long distances.

The tractor combines comfort and safety for long-hauls with its durable chassis, advanced air suspension system, and modern cabin ergonomics.

Offering drivers a spacious workspace with BMC's largest, tallest and most spacious cabin design to date, the BMC PRO L 1856 enables safe driving thanks to its electronic braking, stabilization, and hill-holder systems.

Delivering a premium driving experience with its high technology multimedia display, smart driver assistance systems and advanced equipment options, the vehicle also stands out with its fuel efficiency and competitive total cost of ownership.

BMC PROCITY+ 12M ELECTRIC

PROCITY+ 12M EV is equipped with cutting-edge technology battery and charging systems. Fully compatible with the CC2 type charging socket and pantograph system, the vehicle offers fast and convenient charging. While the battery reaches from 20% to 80% in 2-2.5 hours with standard DC charging, fast charging reduces this time to about 1 hour.

Different battery options, developed using LFP and NMC battery technologies and offered in a capacity range of 362 kWh to 528.1 kWh, provide a range of 300-450 km suitable for urban use, thereby maximizing operational efficiency.

PROCITY+ 12M EV stands out as a next-generation, sustainable solution for urban transportation with its electric traction system, zero-emission design and wide range of features.

BMC PROCITY 18-METER DIESEL

PROCITY 18M Diesel stands out with its modern and innovative design, while its complete low-floor structure provides maximum accessibility for passengers getting on and off. Bringing passenger comfort to a new level with its spacious and functional interior, the vehicle combines low emissions and high efficiency with its engine compliant with Euro 6 standards.

Offering an effective solution for high-density routes with a capacity of 39 seated and 124 standing passengers, the vehicle stands out as a reliable and sustainable alternative for urban transportation.
