At the exhibition, held at the Istanbul Expo Center from 17 to 19 June, BMC is showcasing its solutions designed to address both current and future urban public transportation needs through its extensive product portfolio comprising electric, diesel and CNG-powered buses.
The PROCITY+ 18M EV, exhibited at the fair, offers an environmentally friendly and efficient transportation solution for cities with high passenger volumes through its high passenger capacity, zero-emission architecture and advanced technological infrastructure. PROCITY+ 12M ELECTRIC (Recipient of the German Design Award 2026)
The PROCITY+ 12M EV is equipped with cutting-edge technology battery and charging systems developed in collaboration with KIEPE. Fully compatible with both the CCS2 type charging socket and pantograph systems, the vehicle offers fast and convenient charging. While the battery reaches from 20% to 80% in 2-2.5 hours with standard DC charging, fast charging reduces this time to about 1 hour. Developed using NMC technology, battery options with capacities of 362 kWh and 434 kWh provide a driving range of between 350 and 450 kilometers in urban operating conditions, maximizing operational efficiency.
With its electric propulsion system, zero-emission architecture and extensive equipment features, the PROCITY+ 12M EV stands out as a next-generation solution for urban transportation. Distinguished by its modern design and user-oriented approach, the vehicle received the Excellent Product Design – Passenger Vehicles awards in both the Interior and Exterior categories at the German Design Award 2026, organized by the German Design Council.
PROCITY+ 18M ELECTRIC
The PROCITY+ 18M EV is equipped with cutting-edge battery and charging systems developed in collaboration with KIEPE. Fully compatible with both the CCS2 type charging socket and pantograph systems, the vehicle offers fast and convenient charging. While the battery reaches from 20% to 80% in approximately 3 hours with standard DC charging, fast charging reduces this time to as little as 1.5 hours.
Featuring LFP battery technology with battery capacity options ranging from 466 kWh to 704 kWh, the vehicle delivers extended range and high operational efficiency, making it an ideal solution for routes with intensive passenger demand. With its electric propulsion system, fast charging capability, comprehensive interior equipment and zero carbon emissions, the PROCITY+ 18M EV establishes a new benchmark in urban transportation.
PROCITY 12M DIESEL
For many years, the PROCITY 12M Diesel has remained among the pioneering and market-leading models in its segment, serving as one of the reliable solutions for urban public transportation through its capacity to accommodate 103 passengers, outstanding durability and operational efficiency.
