BMC TO EXHIBIT DOMESTIC AND NATIONAL POWER AT IDEX 2025

BMC, one of Türkiye's leading military vehicle components, will exhibit its military vehicles and engines that can be produced with 100% Turkish science using its vehicles at the International Defense Fair and Conference IDEX 2025 to be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, between February 17-21, 2025.

The most up-to-date defense technologies were presented at IDEX 2025 by BMC and actively used by the UAE, KİRPİ II, an improved version equipped with independent stabilization and the latest technology, ALTUĞ 8x8, which offers multi-mission capacity on a single platform with its modular roof configuration, VURAN, which fulfills its mission thanks to its different weapon strategy, and BMC POWER's 400 HP TUNA engine, 600 HP marine engine LEVEND for marine vehicles and 1500 HP BATU engine management.

ABOUT THE THINGS TO BE EXHIBITED AT IDEX 2025

KİRPİ II 4x4 – Mine-Protected Vehicle

KİRPİ, which has become a legend with its superior protection level in the mine-compatible element class, has an independent solution system in the improved version of KİRPİ II. In addition to its high protection features, KİRPİ II continues in its class both in road holding and passenger comfort. KİRPİ II comes with a monocoque armored cabin, special armored windows, special seats, weapon station, as well as many specially integrated mission-oriented equipment (CBRN protection system, shooting range target detection system, automatic firing system, intercom system, combination blinding system design, etc.) and a special explosive material explosion and disposal robot version.

KİRPİ Mine-Protected Vehicle Family; It successfully fulfills various tasks with many different versions such as Ambulance, METİ (Mine and Improvised Explosive Detection Disposal Vehicle), Load Carrying Vehicle and 6x6. With its superior maintenance and protection level in its class, it serves as one of the most important defense vehicles in many different countries (United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Qatar, Somalia) especially in Turkey.

ALTUĞ 8x8 – Armored Combat Vehicle

ALTUĞ 8x8 Armored Combat Vehicle (35 millimeter gun turret) and Armored Personnel Carrier (12.7 millimeter gun turret) were designed to provide all the answers to conventional and asymmetric battlefields in their class. A high localization rate of up to 80 percent is targeted in ALTUĞ 8x8 series vehicles. In addition to the local and national axle equipment found in all versions of the vehicles, studies are ongoing to use local engines in the 8x8 and 6x6 versions with 12.7 millimeter gun turrets. ALTUĞ 8x8, which has a carrying weapon capacity of all types from 7.62 millimeters to 120 millimeters, offers superior protection against hand-made explosives. ALTUĞ can carry up to 8 tons of payload. ALTUĞ, which has a "multi-task capability on a single platform" with its detachable and replaceable vehicle roof concept, performs with advanced maneuverability thanks to 4-axle steering.

VURAN 4x4 – Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicle

With its 9-person carrying capacity, high protection and superior mobility, VURAN 4x4 provides high protection against mine and ballistic threats thanks to its monocoque type strong cabin, special armored cams and special designs. VURAN 4x4, which has high ballistic, mine and hand-made explosive protection with its special camera vision system automatic, fire extinguishing system, central tire inflation feature, successfully carries out sensitive point or facility protection, patrols between police stations, convoy protection, regional, point and road failure, and physical security interruption in the most difficult climate conditions.

With its multi-group rocket launcher, mortar cannon and remote-controlled weapon system version, VURAN 4x4 successfully fulfills many tasks thanks to the addition of different weapon equipment. VURAN 4x4 Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicles are not only in Türkiye but also successfully serve in Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina within the scope of NATO Peace Force.
